Sara Weigh In

Since yesterday was Easter (happy Easter!) I didn't get a weigh-in done in the morning. I was too busy getting ready for church, the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, yummy dinners, etc.

I did weigh myself this morning and am feeling far too lazy at the moment to take a picture and upload it, so I'm just gonna tell you this time.

I'm at 171.

Ta-da!

Yeah, nothing earth shattering or much different.

And with a whole lot of feasting and Easter candy I will try...a little...but I doubt this next week will be earth shattering either.

So I'll see you then!

Oh yeah, and Monday Mountain = easter candy. For sure!!

Monday Mountains

Yes, it's Tuesday. I realize that.

But I need help/advice and so I figured I'd just do a late Monday Mountain post.

Lately when I do my workouts I've been getting light-headed.

Like...really light-headed.

This is strange to me. I never even had that problem when I first started even though I was almost 30 pounds heavier and much less in shape.

I've tried drinking more water and eating a heartier breakfast (with protein) and it doesn't seem to help. I just get dizzy and have to stop and rest until the world rights itself again.

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Sara Weekly Weigh-In

I have finally reached it!


My goal weight!

This is what I was aiming for when I first started.

I honestly thought it would take a lot longer to get to this point. I figured aiming for this by August was stretching it.

But here I am with more than 3 months to spare.

So what do I do now?

Keep trying of course!

Just because it was my goal doesn't mean i have to stop here. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and if it happens to keep going down...well...you just can't beat that!

Picture Update

Eeps! I missed my picture update near the beginning of the month.

Oh well, now is as good of a time as any!

My hubby took these pics for me today.

Woot!

I had been wearing a size 18, and let me tell you, they were getting pretty baggy and rag-a-muffinish. So we went jean shopping yesterday. I was thrilled to find that I could squeeze into a size 12! I selected this size 14 instead because I thought the fit was more flattering.

Still...

I was ecstatic!!


Yay for new, smaller jeans!

Sara Weekly Weigh In

How did I do this week?

Meh.

We spent a lot of the week running errands and getting things done. That means I didn't make it to hardly any of my workouts. It just goes to show you how crucial they are to a healthy lifestyle.

Plus, I ate cake. Lots and lots of cake.

Mmmm...tasty.

But not so great for the weight thing.

I guess it's time to buckle back down.

Again.

It seems as though this is my pattern.

I slip up.

I do better.

I do better.

I slip up...

I guess I'd better start doing better at doing better.
